The work consists generally of cutting trees and other woodygrowth, at ground level, on the banks and top of bank of Ditch 17.All trees and debris must be removed from site. The Ditch conveys storm water to the City's Storm water Pumping Station and trees and woody debris can clog and damage the pumps. Ditch 17is approximately 2 miles in length, however, less than 1 mile needs to be cleared. Trees and woodygrowth to be removed from both sides of the ditch. All Bidders must be licensed contractors to perform the type of work specified in the bid as required by the State of Arkansas. The West Memphis Utilities reserves the right to waive irregularities; to reject bids in its solediscretion for any reason; to postpone the award of the contract for a period that shall not exceed beyond 60 days from the bid opening date. 487059z
