Scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: Installing a new acoustic ceiling tile and grid, and new energy efficient lights in the high school corridors. Work will also include the removal and reinstallation the existing fire alarm system in new ceiling tile. The "Ceiling and Lighting Upgrade" will occur at the Fairfield High School located at 605 East Broadway, Fairfield, Iowa 52556. The above scope of work will be bid as a two bid packages; 1. Electrical and 2. Acoustical Ceilings. Question Deadline 03/13/2025 Submit written questions concerning Bidding Documents and existing site conditions at the construction site to the CM. Unsuccessful bidders must return their drawings and specifications to Action Reprographics or Carl A. Nelson & Company, 1815 Des Moines Ave., Burlington, Iowa 52601 in good condition, and within 14 days of the award of contracts in order to receive a refund of their deposit. Bid security in the amount of five percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The successful bidder shall be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price. Construction Period: Approximately three months (starting May 26, 2025). Refer to specification section 00 31 13 Preliminary Schedule. The Fairfield Community School District, Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, and to enter such contracts as it deems in the best interest of the District.
