Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fairfield, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project includes the construction of approximately 2,500 L.F. of sanitary sewer, 2,000 L.F. of 6-inch PVC water main, and 7,000 S.Y. of 7-inch PCC pavement. The work under the proposed Contract shall commence upon issuance of the written Notice to Proceed. The proposed subdivision improvements listed shall be fully completed on or before May 31, 2026. The bidder agrees to pay as liquidated damages the sum of $500 for each consecutive calendar day after the specified completion date that the project is not fully completed. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Code of Iowa. Bid security shall be 10% of the bid amount.
