The scope of this Contract and its Documents is to provide the requirements and specifications for the construction associated with the Improvements to Blocks Bayou Ditch in Port Neches, Texas. The District's last engineer's estimate was $1,970,150.00. BASE BID: The project scope for the base bid includes, but is not limited to: Implementation of the Traffic Control Plan, including construction of temporary driveways, signage, barricades, and maintenance of all elements of the Traffic Control Plan (TCP). The removal of existing concrete ditch liner. The removal of existing reinforced concrete pipes (RCP) and replacing such with new 10'W x 5'H reinforced concrete boxes (RCB). The addition of a new run of 7'W x 5'H reinforced concrete boxes (RCB). Construction of a cast-in-place concrete box section at the location of a Linde gas pipeline. The installation of structural concrete headwalls and wingwalls. The replacement of base layers and HMAC surfacing on Port Neches Ave and Williams Ave. The placement of 6" thick concrete liner to the lines and grades shown on the plans. Final site clean up and grading and the placement of St. Augustine grass sod, seeding, and Curlex Green erosion control matting in all disturbed areas of the project.
