The City of North Canton is soliciting bids from qualified companies for the provision and delivery of Pebble Lime and Bulk Dense Soda Ash used for the treatment of raw ground water into finished potable water. Companies that can meet the chemical specifications and that can deliver tractor trailer loads to the City's Drinking Water Treatment Plant (7300 Freedom Ave. NW, North Canton, OH 44720) are encouraged to submit. Bidders may submit for either or both chemicals. The award of contracts for each chemical will be considered separately. The vendor(s) ultimately selected by the City will be awarded a contract(s) to provide the chemical(s) for either a two-year term, with an option for a one-year extension and a CPI increase following year two; or three one-year terms with a CPI increase after each year.
