Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ramsey, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work generally consists of reconstructing 0.54 miles of streets within the Sorteberg's subdivision. The work is estimated to include: o 9,000 square yards of full-depth reclamation o 1,630 tons of bituminous pavement o 5,475 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter o 417 linear feet of storm sewer o Miscellaneous other improvements A contract is anticipated to be awarded on April 8, 2025, and that work may begin on or about May 1, 2025. Each bidder shall submit a bid bond made payable to the City of Ramsey in the amount of 5% of the total bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond. The online bid must be completed and submitted, all addenda acknowledged and acknowledgement uploaded to the site, and a copy of the bid bond uploaded to the site. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least 45 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The City of Ramsey reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities.
