The work of providing labor, equipment, and material for the City of Red Bay, Alabama - Hoyt Keeton Walking Trail Storm Drainage Project - Rebid Contract "A" (Installation Only) - CWSRF Project NO. SW000066- 01. The principal items of work are detailed herein below: CONTRACT "A" 1. Installation of 60" HP Storm Pipe 2. Installation of Storm Inlet Boxes 3. Installation of Storm Catch Basins 4. Installation of Erosion Control 5. Installation of Fill Material for Bank Slope Adjustments 6. Installation of End Treatment The Contract may be awarded to the lowest and responsive Bidder. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening bids has passed. The Owner reserves the right to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of receiving the Bids. The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 60 consecutive calendar days total and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept any bid considered advantageous to the Owner. The contractor shall note that funds for this project are provided through CWSRF (Clean Water State Revolving Funds). All Applicable Federal Guidelines must be met. There will be no Pre-Bid meeting. DESCRIPTION A. Scope 1. Furnish and install seed and mulch and do related work necessary to complete work shown or specified. 2. The Contractor shall repair or replace lawn areas, trees, and ornamental plants damaged or destroyed during construction of the work included in this Contract, unless otherwise shown on the drawings. B. Codes, Specifications, and Standards Codes, specifications, and standards referred to by number or title shall form a part of this specification to the extent required by the references thereto. Latest revisions as of the date of bid opening shall apply, unless otherwise shown or specified.
