Installation of 60" HD Storm Pipe 2. Storm Inlet Boxes 3. Storm Catch Basins 4. Erosion Control 5. Bank Slope Adjustments The Contract may be awarded to the lowest and responsive Bidder. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond for one hundred (100%) of the bid amount and a Payment Bond for one hundred (100%) percent of the bid amount and must secure his bond from a bonding company's representative or agent in the State of Alabama. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening bids has passed. The Owner reserves the right to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of receiving the Bids. The Contractor is Hereby Advised That Time is of the Essence on This Project and That the Contract Time of 60 Consecutive Calendar Days Total and Noted Restrictions Shall Be Strictly Observed. Liquidated Damages Will Be Assessed if Contract Time is Exceeded. The Contractor May Apply for an Extension of Time In Accordance With the Provisions of the Contract; However, Such an Extension Must Be Approved Prior to the Contract Completion Date to Avoid the Imposition of Liquidated Damages. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept any bid considered advantageous to the Owner. The contractor shall note that funds for this project are provided through CWSRF (Clean Water State Revolving Funds). All Applicable Federal Guidelines must be met.
