Major items of work include: a Base Bid for the replacement of the lighting and signage for the Runway and will include fillet widening for the connectors and minor remarking for the threshold bars. In addition to the Base Bid, an Alternate Bid will be considered for award and will include the lighting and signage for the Taxiway. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty shall be a bid bond made payable to the City of Thomson. Bids may be held by the City of Thomson for a period not to exceed one hundred twenty (120) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract.
