The services to be provided by the consultant for this Request for Proposal (RFP) may include all work to support the activities necessary to, study, plan, develop and implement a variety of projects as they relate to Transit for ABQ RIDE throughout the service area. The scope will include architectural, civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering, planning and other professional services to the Transit Department/ABQ Ride on as-needed, on-call basis. Services may include: site plans, site surveys, scoping and estimating, planning/master planning, conditions assessments, historic preservation and environmental assessments, feasibility studies, public outreach, construction management/observation, and right of way acquisition. For those projects with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funding, the selected firm and/or persons will be required to comply with the applicable FTA requirements including those relating to Equal Opportunity in Employment. See the pre-submittal documents for the FTA requirements. Respondents are strongly encouraged to use Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms as sub-consultants. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
