Summary The City of St. Petersburg is seeking responses from qualified vendors to replace and install one (1) 60kw 250amp generator for Fire Station 12 as a one-time purchase. This is a sheltered bid, and for contracts placed in a sheltered market, at least 20 percent of the contracting effort (including the cost of supplies) must be self-performed by the SBE prime contractor Background Exisiting generator failed during hurricanes Helene and Milton and are now completely unusable. Minimum Qualifications At a minimum, Vendor must meet the following qualifications: Have been in the business of providing generator parts and installation as described herein for a minimum of three (3) years. Have the ability to obtain the minimum insurance requirements set for in the base agreement Vendor must be a City approved Small Business Enterprise. 4.3. Vendor Responsibilities Expectations of performance: disconnect and remove existing natural gas 60kw 120/240v 1PH generator supply and install new natural gas 60kw 120/240v 1PH generator reconnect all wiring and natural gas piping fasten unit to pad; start up and generator load bank install new annunciator panel and wiring. Location of performance: Fire Station 12 - 1651 Bayou Grande Blvd NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33703 Contractor shall provide a single point of contact (Account Manager) to administer the Agreement. Contractor shall maintain Minimum Qualifications noted above for the term of Agreement. City's Responsibilties At a minimum, City shall provide and meet the following responsibilities: City shall provide a point of contact (City Project Manager) to administer the Agreement. City Project Manager shall assist with planning, strategy, and objectives prior to performance of the Work. City Project Manager shall promptly respond to issues and inquiries so as not to hinder the progress, completion, or compensation for the Work.
