Question Submission Deadline: March 27, 2025, 2:30pm Sarasota County seeks a Contractor to provide truck hauling services for the pickup and transporting of small base rock, pit shell, trees, fill dirt, sand, trash, wet material (such as seaweed and dead fish as a result of red tide), and debris resulting from maintenance activities. The County anticipates an initial contract term of 3 years. Refer to the Solicitation Documents and Attachments section for minimum qualifications, scope/specifications, and insurance requirements. This timeline is subject to change. Failure by a Bidder to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference or site visit will result in their bid being considered non-responsive. When applicable, Bidders are advised to visit each location to familiarize themselves with all work areas. Failure to do so will in no manner relieve the Bidder from furnishing materials or services that may be required to carry out and complete the contract in accordance with the intent of the specifications listed herein. Questions asked at a pre-bid conference will be formally answered via an addendum. Bidders shall not rely on oral communications. Sarasota County strongly recommends completing your response well ahead of the response deadline. The County assumes no responsibility for any bids received after the bid end date. Bids submitted cannot be viewed by anyone other than the Bidder until the official bid opening occurs. Submitted bids will be made public in accordance with Florida Public Record laws found in Ch. 119, F.S. It is the responsibility of the bidder to check OpenGov for answers to questions.
