Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Downey, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development.
The work to be performed under this Contract generally consists of the demolition of the existing YMCA building located in the City of Downey. This project includes the removal of all structural components, foundations, slabs, and footings; proper disposal of debris and hazardous materials in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; disconnection and capping of existing utilities; site clearing and grading; implementation of dust control and noise mitigation measures; traffic control during demolition activities; and all appurtenant work necessary for the proper completion of the demolition, in accordance with the Plans and Specifications and all appurtenant work thereto necessary for the proper construction of the contemplated improvements, in accordance to Plans and Specification entitled Capital Improvement Project No. 24-07.
