Scope of Work: The following service items shall be provided for all areas listed in this RFP: The quantities listed are approximate, not guaranteed. Providing landscape care and maintenance five (5) days a week within the Downtown District during daytime hours, approved by the DDA. Care and Maintenance includes healthy, visually appealing, live plants. Fertilizer, pruning, trimming, cutting, mowing, hauling of debris, removal of trash and litter, proper disposal of all trimmings, trash and waste. Does not include full pruning and trimming of trees, just daily care. Be able to properly provide all plants, materials, labor, equipment, vehicles and other items required to properly execute the services requested in this RFP. Maintain optimal plant life, keeping them in a condition that is always visually appealing. Ensure all landscaping areas are free of dead plants, debris, weeds, trash and any other item that are not benefiting the overall health of the landscaping. Provide inspection, operation and care of the irrigation system parts that are above ground (timers, clocks, sprinklers, drip lines, etc.) to ensure proper irrigation of landscaping. Provide information to show that Proposer can truck in water and provide hand watering of any and all landscaping when necessary to maintain optimal plant and tree health. Provide reporting for all tasks completed and issues found. Be able to address items that come up with a rapid response, for example, broken water line. The Downtown has many businesses and residents that must be accommodated and therefore, we have multiple parameters regarding when certain types of work can be done and how certain tasks need to be done in order to not hinder the daily activities of our Downtown. Proposers will need to be flexible and accept direction from DDA regarding these parameters.
