Renovation of a mixed-use development in West Palm Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The scope of work includes CSI Divisions 03, 07, 08, 09, 10, 12, 23, 26 & 32 consisting of Concrete Maintenance, Joints, Gutters and Downspouts, Doors, Overhead Doors, Door Hardware, Glazing, Stucco, Acoustical Ceilings, Paint, Signage, Entrance Mats, HVAC, Electrical, Tree Trimming. J *Project information, including timeline and contacts, has been obtained through public sources. The content management team continues to pursue additional details. The standard SOW for exterior BEMP projects: Scope of Work 1. Pressure wash all exterior walls, sidewalk and stoops that adjoin units, remove and replace all exterior caulking at center mate joint, doors and windows. Center mate joints shall have backer rod installed. 2. Remove all loose and peeling paint down to substrate and repair any text coat and prime before final coats. 3. Remove all vegetation that impedes ability to perform work 4. Repair all cracks in concrete walls as required in special conditions of the 21C39K contract. Remove downspouts where required to access building mate or expansion joints. 5. Paint all exposed exterior walls, trim boards, gutters, downspouts and doors. 6. Apply paint by roll. One coat of primer and two coats of finish paint. 7. Use products as outlined in 21C-39K contract. 8. Paint Colors shall be as approved by School District of Palm Beach County. 9. The recommended products for the doors are Procryl Universal Primer with Shercryl High Performance topcoat. Doors shall be treated as laid out in special conditions of the 21C-39K contract. 10. All exterior doors to have glazing re-caulked with Dow Corning 795 silicone sealant after painting is complete. Schedule – (21) days to substantial and (7) days to final for a total of 28 days
