Site work and paving for a civil project in Hightstown, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Work includes, but is not limited to 550 CY Test Pit, 2 UNIT Stump Removal, 10 UNIT Tree Removal, 10 UNIT Tree Plantings, 2 UNIT Type 'B' Inlet with Bicycle Safe Frame and Grate, 1 UNIT Type 'E' Inlet with Bicycle Safe Frame and Grate, 6 UNIT Type 'B' Bicycle Frame and Grate, 10 UNIT Eco Curb Piece, 9 UNIT Manhole Frame and Cover, 725 LF Storm Pipe, 1,185 LF Water Main, 4,300 LF Water Service, 24 UNIT Curb Valve and Box, 4 UNIT Fire Hydrant Assembly, 60 LF Permanent Trench Restoration, 3 UNIT Precast Sewer Manhole with Frame and Cover, 25 LF Sewer Main, 25 LF Concrete Encasement, 2,440 LF Concrete Curb, 825 SY Concrete Sidewalk, 605 SY Driveway Repair, 20 SY Detectable Warning Surface, 675 SY 12" Depth Excavation, 6,840 SY HMA Milling, 680 SY Pavement Repair, 733 GAL Tack Coat, 890 TON HMA Surface Course, 123 SY HMA Leveling Course, 115 TON Base Course, 70 CY Select Fill, 130 SY Compacted DGA, 50 CY Clean Stone, signage, pavement markings, and other incidentals. Please submit your bids on the standard bid proposal forms, in the manner designated and must be received in sealed opaque envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside; addressed to the Borough Clerk, Borough of Hightstown and must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, providing that said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall not be less than $500.00, and be delivered at the place and on or before the hour named above. Otherwise, no bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of the bids. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or accept a bid which, in its judgment, best serves the interest of the Borough. N.J.A.C. 17:44- 2.2 requires Contractors to maintain all documents related to the contract for five years from the date of final payment and to make them available to the Comptroller's office upon request. Any awarded Contractor shall maintain all documentation related to products, transactions, or services under this contract for a period of five years from the date of final payment. Document Note: Contact Roberts Engineering Group, LLC by phone (609-586-1141) during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., to provide account information and coordinate purchase and delivery of bid packages. Checks must be made payable to Roberts Engineering Group, LLC. In order to assure that all potential bidders receive the complete bid documentation, as well as any amendments, modifications or supplements thereto, bid documentation must be obtained only from the Borough Engineer Carmela Roberts, P.E., C.M.E., C.P.W.M. of Roberts Engineering Group, LLC, 1670 Whitehorse Hamilton Square Road, Hamilton, New Jersey 08690 by registering with the Borough Engineer and paying the required documentation fee. Question Deadline 03/21/2025 Any request for such interpretations shall be made in writing to the Engineer and will be given consideration ifit is received at least 10 days priorto the date scheduled for the opening of bids.
