As of November 19, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The work includes but is not limited to rehabilitation of the influent pump station dry well, valve and pipe replacement, floor repairs and replacement, welding, cleaning, painting, restoration and other incidentals. Bids shall be submitted on the forms provided and shall be in accordance with the specifications set forth in the Instructions to Bidders and other bidding documents. Bids must be submitted in sealed opaque envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Borough Clerk, and must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, but not more than $20,000.00 nor less than $500.00. All applicable surety bonds must be written by a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List. Bidders must comply with requirements set forth in the Local Public Contracts Law, the Prevailing Wage Act, Affirmative Action, and all requirements in the Instructions to Bidders. At the time a bid is submitted, the bidder shall submit a copy of its Business Registration Certificate. The contract is subject to provisions of NJAC 7:22-3, 4, 5, 9, and 10. The SED utilization goal for this project is 10 percent. Awards will be made only to socially and economically disadvantaged business concerns that are certified by appropriate New Jersey agencies. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or accept a bid which, in its judgment, best serves the interest of the Borough.
