Bid includes construction of approximately 980 LF of 12" water main, 3,650 LF of 8" water main, and associated services and connections to the existing system. The Engineer's Estimate is $3,034,700, excluding sales tax. All bidding and all construction shall be carried out in compliance with the plans and specifications for this project. The work must be completed within 130 calendar days after the commencement date stated in the notice to proceed. Notice to proceed will be set as the date of the preconstruction meeting. Bids are to be submitted only on the form provided, in the specifications, and all bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, postal money order, or bid bond payable to the Woodinville Water District in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid including sales tax. Bid forms must be submitted intact. "Intact" shall mean having the "Advertisement for Bids" through, and including the "Wage Rate Schedule" (pages A. 73, and Section 00820) securely fastened together, including any Addenda, with no pages or sections missing. A performance and payment bond in the full amount of the Contract will be required. The Bidder shall guarantee the Total Bid Price for a period of 60 calendar days from the opening of the Bid. The District expressly reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor informalities and to make awards to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it may best, serve the interest of the District.
