Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lombard, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project will consist of the reconstruction of Woodrow Avenue from Westmore-Meyers Road to Addison Avenue. The scope of work includes the removal of existing pavement, base course, and subbase down to the proposed subgrade elevation. The roadway pavement will be reconstructed with a 5.25" subbase of granular material, a 5.25" hot-mix asphalt base course, a 2.25" hot-mix asphalt binder course, and a 1.5" hot-mix asphalt surface course. Additionally, the project will include the removal and replacement of curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveways, storm sewers, and underdrain construction, as well as traffic control measures. Est.
