McIntosh County Board of Commissioners (hereinafter Owner) is soliciting sealed competitive proposals from certified and qualified General Contractors for the construction of the Ft. Barrington Campsite located in Barrington County Park. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and related appurtenances as specified in this RFP and project plans. The work includes, but is not limited to, a bathhouse, electrical systems, and, as an add alternate bid item, a septic system and water well system installation. Barrington Campsite PROJECT: McIntosh County Board of Commissioners (hereinafter "Owner") is soliciting sealed competitive proposals from certified and qualified General Contractors for the construction of the Ft. Barrington Campsite located in Barrington County Park. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and related appurtenances as specified in the RFP and project plans. The work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of RV sites, a bathhouse, electrical systems, and an add alternate septic system and water well system installation, ensuring a fully functional campsite. BID BOND: All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. A cashiers or certified check may be submitted in lieu of a bid bond. PERFORMANCE/ PAYMENT BONDS: The successful Proposer, if awarded this contract, will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. PAYMENT TERMS: The successful Proposer will receive monthly payments within 30 days after receipt and approval by the Owner's Representative of a valid invoice for those services rendered. THE OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO WAIVE ALL TECHNICALITIES, REJECT ANY OR ALL PROPOSALS AND MAKE THE AWARD IN ITS BEST INTEREST.
