Collection of Solid Waste Refuse and Collection and Marketing of Single Stream Recyclables Over a Five (5) Year Period From January 1, 2026, Through December 31, 2030, With an Option of Two (2) One-year Extensions. Pricing Will Be Based on the Published Bureau of Labor Statistics' Consumer Price Index (CPI) Established at the Time Such Extensions Are Contracted for. Bids Submitted Should Also Include an Option(S) for the Delivery of Solid Waste and Recyclable Containers (Also Referred to Here in as "totes"). The Successful Bid Will Be Determined and Awarded Within Sixty (60) Days of the Bid Opening. Each Proposal Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in Favor of the Township of Penn in the Amount of $25,000. No Bid May Be Withdrawn for Sixty (60) Days After Commencement of Opening of the Bids by the Township of Penn. The Penn Township Board of Commissioners Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, to Waive Any Technical Defects, and to Accept Any Bid That It Deems to Be in the Best Interest of the Township.
