Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the addition of a 200,430-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility; for the demolition of a 20,430-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

The Hanover Borough Public Safety Facility is a renovation and building addition project located in central Pennsylvania. The project includes alterations to an existing two-story building to include site improvements. The existing building is approximately 20,430 gross square feet with street frontage on Frederick Street. The building was previously renovated in 1976. Each bidder must deposit, with the bid, Security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. A performance and payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the estimated contract price, shall be required from the successful bidder. A non-collusion affidavit is required for this bid. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, which must be paid to workmen employed on this project, are incorporated in the Contract Documents. Bids may be taken under advisement and award of the contract, if awarded, will be made within 60 days after the date of the opening of the bids, or otherwise provided by law. The Borough of Hanover reserves the rights to formally accept a bid and award a contract by public announcement at a regular meeting of its Borough Council. The Borough of Hanover additionally reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in a bid or the bid procedure; and to accept any bid which it may deem to be for or in the best interest of the Borough of Hanover.
