The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is soliciting electronic bids for maintenance of a section of Backtracks Road on State Game Lands (SGL) #207. The scope of the project includes making drainage improvements, road surface preparation and roadway construction with 4-inch Minus Stone and #2A coarse aggregate. The project includes clearing the road corridor, grading, pipe installation, road base construction, stone surfacing and related work . Work Area- SGL #207' is located in central Luzerne County just east of 1-81. The east end of the project (Sta. 0+00) is located at the intersection with a paved public road (Brown Street). The road project stretches west and ends at metal gate. Most ofthe project is in Hanover Township but the eastern portion is in Fairview Township. The site is owned by the Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC). Duration: upon award through october 3, 2025. A Purchase Order will be generated at the time of award without further input from the successful bidder. Awarded vendor will be sent a copy of this document and no work will be authorized until the vendor is in receipt of the Purchase Order.
