The City of Bend invites Sealed Bids for construction of the West View, Newberry/Twin Lakes, & Parkwood Sewer Project (1SN07). The project consists of con-struction of new gravity and pressure sewer mains and laterals through ar-eas primarily served by private septic systems. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, trenching and in-stallation of approximately 3,580-LF of 8-inch gravity sewer pipeline and 755 LF of 3-inch pressure sewer pipeline at depths approximately 4 -13 feet, sewer manholes, gravity and pressure sewer services, temporary traffic control, street reconstruction, and general right-of-way restoration. The Engineer's estimate is between $2,910,000 and $3,720,000. Deadline to submit Questions - Mar 31st 2025, 4:00 PM PDT The Project will be funded by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund, administered through the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. The Project is subject to the pro-visions of ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870 and the Federal Davis-Ba-con Act and the higher of the two pre-vailing wages must be paid. Hard copies will not be ac-cepted unless the Bidder has made arrangements ahead of time. If a hard copy of the Bid is submitted without prior coordination with the Issuing Officer, the Bid will be returned (un-opened) to the Bidder without consid-eration. No faxed or emailed submissions will be accepted. Prequalification is a requirement. Bidders must be prequalified with City of Bend at the time the bids are opened. Prequalification process is administered by the Private Development Engineering Division through the CityView permit and licensing software and customer portal. You can verify if you are Prequalified by going online. New applications for the City of Bend prequalification must be re-ceived at least 10 business days be-fore the bid deadline.
