2025 Residential Chip Seal Project The Project includes approximately 28 lane miles and approximately 189,277 square yards of Chip Seal HFRS (High Float Rapid Set), 1/4 minus rock HFRS P-2 and HFRS-P-1 Dilute 50/50 fog seal. Street locations are within the residential streets within the City of Bend. Prequalification is a requirement. Bidders must be prequalified with City of Bend at the time the bids are opened. Prequalification process is administered by the Private Development Engineering Division through the City View permit and licensing software and customer portal. . This project is subject to the provisions of ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870 regarding payment of prevailing wages . The City of Bend reserves the right to: 1) reject any or all bids not in compliance with public bidding procedures, 2) to postpone award of the contact for a period not to exceed sixty days from the date of bid opening, 3) to waive informalities in the bids, and 4) to select the bid which appears to be in the interest of the City The Engineer's estimate is $724,045.15 to $838,368.06 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. Contractor’s responsibilities include: • Public Outreach, as detailed in Exhibit F • Traffic Control- complete, PCMS (Portable Changeable Message Sign) boards, Type II barricades and no parking signs posted 48 hours prior to scheduled Work • Rock haul and stockpile locations (location determined by Contractor) • Asphalt binder distributors, Chip Rock • Aggregate (chip) spreaders • Rollers • Dump trucks and Sweeping equipment The Engineers estimate is $724,045.15 to $838,368.06
