Water Tower Park has had a major transformation in the last two years. New amenities such as astroturf, playground, landscaping, fencing, security cameras, irrigation, and walking trails were all added. Demand for programming has increased greatly as these new amenities have been added, including being able to program well into the winter season. With the development of the adjacent subdivision growing and available parking spaces decreasing, a need for a formidable parking lot is much needed. The City is working on an agreement to build a paved parking lot to accommodate approximately 80 parking spaces. Ongoing Operating Impact: This project provides no new impacts to ongoing operations. As of March 7, 2025, this project is included in the City of Brighton's Fiscal Year 2025-2029 CIP. Further information regarding a design firm and timeline for construction has not yet been established.
