The Nashua School District (NSD) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for work related to the Nashua High School - North track resurfacing Background: The Nashua High School North rubberized track was placed into service in 2002. It has since been renovated and received a new rubberized coating. It is now time to resurface the track. The existing track surface is a Beynon BSS-100 polyurethane paved mat, structural spray system. Track resurfacing method shall be the standard industry method for resurfacing this track type. The track surface includes the track proper, long jump runways, pole vault runway, and an apron at the north end of the track for high jumping. Scope: The successful contractor shall: 1. Become familiar with existing track installations and condition. 2. Become familiar with this Request for Bids document, with attachments. 3. Clean the track of all debris. 4. Perform miscellaneous track surface repairs in various locations around the track. 5. Fill and seal existing cracks 6. Provide and install two coats of Red Polyurethane Structural Spray at a total rate of 3.6 lbs per square yard to existing track surface area. The coating shall consist of 0.5 to 1.5mm EPDM rubber granules and red pigmented aliphatic polyurethane. 7. Provide an ASBA Certified Track Builder to manage the resurfacing work. 8. Provide line striping and track markings, including all existing lettering and markings, in accordance with NHIAA guidance. Period of Performance: The period of performance for this contract shall be from award, to the final acceptance of the construction contactor's work. It is anticipated that construction work will commence as soon as the Spring track and field season ends (on/about June 6, 2025) and preferably end August 19, 2025. Contractor shall provide a performance payment bond and a labor and materials payment bond for 100% of the contract amount through a surety licensed to do business in the State of New Hampshire reasonably acceptable to the Owner.
