Deadline for Bidder Questions Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Noon Inquiries must be submitted in writing, citing the IFB title/number, Page Section, and must be received no later than Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Noon to: City of Nashua 229 Main Street, Room 11 Nashua, NH 03061purchasing@nashuanh.gov Answers/clarifications posted will be on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 3:00 pm Completion times for the project will be as follows: Substantial Completion shall be October 15, 2025 Final Completion shall be November 1, 2025 Liquidated damages of $100 for each working day will be assessed for delays beyond the established dates for substantial completion and final completion The City of Nashua will reject the bid of any proposed who is presently debarred, declared ineligible or excluded by any Federal department or agency, and reserves the right to reject the bid of any proposer who has previously failed to perform any contract properly for any purchaser, or to complete on time, contracts or a similar nature, who is not in the position to perform the contract, or who has neglected the payment of bills or otherwise disregarded its obligations to clients, purchases, subcontractors, material men, or employees. The City of Nashua is seeking qualified contractors to furnish, install, test, and make operational a new fiber optic run along Amherst Street from Blackstone Drive to Northwestern Boulevard (~3,500 feet). The project also includes integrating seven (7) existing traffic signals along Amherst Street from Somerset Parkway to Northwestern Boulevard into the existing and proposed network: o #100 Amherst @ Building 19 o #101 Amherst @ Townsend West o #102 Amherst @ Thornton Rd o #104 Amherst @ Blackstone Dr o #105 Amherst @ Cellu Dr o #106 Amherst @ Celina Ave o #107 Amherst @ Northwest Blvd The contractor will be responsible for the complete installation of fiber optic cables and signal integration, including all traffic control, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to ensure a fully operational communication network.
