Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Rock Falls, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed work for which the City of Rock Falls is soliciting bids consists of one contract, "MICRO PARKING LOT CONSTRUCTION & SIDEWALK CONNECTION", and includes the following: "Construction of a new HMA parking lot and connecting concrete sidewalk." A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the City of Rock Falls, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. The City of Rock Falls is an equal opportunity employer. The City of Rock Falls reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Rock Falls for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the Contract. Question Deadline 04/01/2025 Every request for such interpretation must be in writing addressed to Willett, Hofmann & Associates, Inc., 212 3 rd Avenue, Sterling, Illinois 61081. To be given consideration, such request must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.
