The Project includes construction of a 5MG prestressed concrete water reservoir at the northeast corner of Decatur Boulevard and Deer Springs Way in the City of North Las Vegas. The new tank will interconnect to an existing 5MG welded steel reservoir designated as Deer Springs Reservoir #1. To effectuate such addition, the work entails installation of yard pipe, valves, equipment, removals, addition of a perimeter block wall, electrical, grading, and associated appurtenances. The Project shall be completed within 545 consecutive calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed, which time shall include resolution of all punch list items, final cleanup and demobilization. The estimated construction cost ranges from $15.5M to $18.5M. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Any questions regarding this solicitation should be sent to Allan Fajardo, P.E., PTOE, with the City of North Las Vegas via email at FajardoA@cityofnorthlasvegas.com prior to the question cut-off date deadline of April 3, 2025. 5:45 PM PT Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security (in the form of, at Bidder's option, a Cashier's check, Certified Check, Money Order, or Bid Bond in favor of the City) in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid amount, pledging that the Bidder will, within fifteen (15) calendar days after receipt of the Notice of Award, enter into a Contract with the City on the terms stated in the Bid and will furnish insurance forms and bonds for the faithful performance of the Contractor and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Bonds issued by an individual surety are not acceptable to the City. Should the Bidder refuse to enter into such Contract or fail to furnish such bonds, the amount of the Bid security may be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages, not as penalty. All checks and money orders must indicate the Payee as "City of North Las Vegas" and reflect the Bid number. Failure to enclose the Bid Security with the sealed Bid Proposal shall be cause for rejection of that Bid without consideration. The City reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid received, and to reject any and or all Bids. In the case of rejection of all Bids, the City reserves the right to advertise for new Bids or to proceed to do the Work otherwise if, in the judgment of the City Council, it is in the best interest of the City.
