Site work, remodeling and renovation of a mixed-use development in La Porte, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the remodel of a laboratory facility.

The City of LaPorte, Indiana is soliciting responses to a “REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS” (RFP) for the implementation of a Guaranteed Savings Contract for improvements of the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The responses to the RFP will provide a means by which the City of LaPorte will select a single licensed Indiana Provider to complete a Guaranteed Savings Contract. The final executed Guaranteed Savings Contract shall comply with IC 36-1-12.5, the guidelines herein this RFP, and the Contract Documents and other information provided by the City The Contract Documents obtained from the City further define the project scope; however, a general project scope is as listed below: 1. Construct an electrical room above the existing sludge pump house and provide new electrical feeds to the plant headworks area 2. Replace piping and pumps in the sludge pump house 3. Construct additions to the Screening Building 4. Replace existing screens and add a screenings compactor 5. Construct a new grit removal facility 6. Replace the 500 KW Emergency Generator and Transfer Switch 7. Remodel the Treatment Plant Laboratory 8. Replace Trickling Filter Pumps #3 and #4 The responses to the RFP will provide a means by which the City of LaPorte will select a single licensed Indiana Provider to complete a Guaranteed Savings Contract. The final executed Guaranteed Savings Contract shall comply with IC 36-1-12.5, the guidelines herein this RFP, and the Contract Documents and other information provided by the City. Upon contract award the successful Proposer shall submit a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the final project cost.
