Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in La Porte, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Work to be performed shall include furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the improvement of sidewalks, and all other work shown and specified in the Contract Documents. The site of construction is in the area of Census Tract 423 along Madison Street, Jefferson Avenue, Harrison Street, 1st Street, Linwood Street, Adams Street, Tipton Street, and Rose Street, all within the City of La Porte, Indiana Bids must be on the Bid Form contained in the Specifications. Each bidder must also complete a Form 96 (as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts); an executed noncollusion affidavit; signed copies of addenda (if issued); a completely executed Affidavit of Compliance with Indiana Immigration Law and Certification of Not Being Engaged in Investment Activities in Iran (copy attached); and satisfactory bid security as set forth in the Contract Documents. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid. Work under this Contract is subject to the Prevailing Wage Rates established for the project as well as the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Federal Labor Standards Provisions, copies of which will be included in the Specifications. This project falls under the federal Davis-Bacon Act requirements. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept a full or partial award of the bid, which, in its judgment, will be in the best interests of the City of La Porte
