The work will consist of preparing spaces for tree plantings throughout various City lots. Requests for clarification during the bidding phase shall be forwarded by email to kbell@widmerengineering.com. Responses shall be publicly displayed on the Widmer Engineering Inc. website. All requests for clarification must be received no later than five (5) business days prior to the anticipated date of receipt of Bids. Each proposal shall be accompanied by security in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the order of City of Connellsville in the amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid in accordance with provisions of the Contract Documents. Bids may be held by the City of Connellsville for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the Contract. The City of Connellsville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities in the biddings.
