Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Project consists of various improvements at the park including: replacing the existing ballfield fencing, dugouts, and basketball hoops; along with ADA accessibility improvements and upgrades to the restroom facilities building. An alternate bid contains the replacement of the existing overhead ballfield lighting with LED fixtures." This project uses the Separations Act and will have three (3) different but related contracts: General Construction; Electrical Work; and Plumbing Work. Each contract includes but is not limited to the following: The General Construction contract includes: Replace existing ball field fencing; replacement of existing backstop and dugouts; replacement of existing basket ball hoops with new poles and hoops; construction of concrete sidewalk and bleacher pads; ADA parking improvements; installation of new concession stand roof; installation of new steel doors, bathroom renovations; etc. The Electrical Construction contract includes: All electrical work pertaining to this project, namely installation of new motion activated switches, exit signage, LED overhead and emergency lighting, duplex outlet, exhaust fans, hand dryers as per drawings and specifications. The Plumbing Construction contract includes: Installation of new toilets, sinks and all associated plumbing in both restrooms as per drawings and specification as well as installation of water fountain and bottle filler station complete with supply and waste line connections. A bid bond or other security in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. This contract is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act. The Connellsville Redevelopment Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
