Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Dickinson, North Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The purpose of this project is to install a watermain loop on the existing Dickinson High School site. Removal of approximately 10 LF of curb and gutter, 7 SY of sidewalk, 562 SY of asphalt, 70 LF of water main, 1 hydrant, 10 concrete posts, and 3 trees. Construction of 10 LF of highback curb and gutter, 500 SY of 5" asphalt pavement, 7 SY of 4" concrete sidewalk, 62 SY of asphalt street patch, 228 LF of 4" painted pavement markings, 608 SY of seeding and hydromulch, 2 LF of 4" C-900 watermain, 2,446 LF of 6" C-900 watermain, 1 - 4" gate valve, 7 - 6" gate valves, 4 - 6" hydrants, 2 connections to existing watermain, 40 LF of 1" poly water service pipe, 108 LF of 2" poly water service pipe, 2 - 2" curb stops, and traffic control. The Owner intends to award the Bid based on the lowest bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. The goal for MBE is 2% of the total dollar value of the project. The goal for WBE is 3% of the total dollar value of the project. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish both a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a Bidder's Bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the Bid, executed by the Bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in this state, conditioned that if the principal's Bid is accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, the principal, within ten (10) days after Notice of Award, shall execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms of his Bid and a Contractor's Bond as required by law and the regulations and determinations of the governing body.
