The Town of Mosheim (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Bridge Repairs Idell Road over Stony Creek The Project includes the following Work: Construction of repairs to the upstream end of Idell Road over Stoney Creek bridge. Also includes, but not limited to a temporary runaround, removal of asphalt pavement, selective demolition of a portion of the existing top slab, selective steel reinforcement replacement, bridge top slab replacement, pavement replacement, traffic control, erosion and sediment control, and rip-rap. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Digital copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office at no cost by emailing a request to be placed on the plan holders list to Jill Workman at jworkman@tl.com. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office for $200.00 for each hard-copy set (non-refundable). Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does not include shipping charges. Upon Issuing Office*s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder*s delivery service. Bids will only be accepted from Bidders who have obtained Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents Prequalification Contractors must be prequalified by the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) when bids are opened for this project.
