Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Anchorage, Alaska. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; and for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.
**As of May 28, 2025, project was awarded to Alfred Benesch & Company (dba Benesch) but unable to locate the project in both google and CRM and awarded amount is not available. The Alaska Railroad Corporation (ARRC) proposes to replace the 308-foot deck girder bridge that crosses Eagle River at ARRC milepost 127.5 just north of Anchorage. The project will replace the aging structure with a new 360-foot triple span deck plate girder bridge. Contractor shall provide on-site, construction management services Tuesday - Saturday from March 2025 through June 2027. Please include the RFP number in the subject line. A pre-bid conference will not be held. The anticipated contract completion date for this agreement is August 1, 2027. This federally funded project will use FTA formula funds. There will be a 80/20 split between FTA and ARRC to fund this replacement project. The contract completion date for this agreement is February 15, 2024. It is anticipated that all final records will be completed and accepted before this date.
