The major items of work are generally as follows: Breakaway Barricade -15 Units, Drum - 75 Units, Traffic Cone -150 Units, Construction Signs - 350 S.F., Excavation, Test Pit - 20 C.Y., 15 Reinforced Concrete Pipe, Class V - 1,075 L.F., Inlet, Type B - 7 Units, Inlet, Type Double B - 2 Units, Drywell Manhole - 8 Units, Detectable Warning Surface - 2 SY, Concrete Sidewalk, Tinted, 5 Thick - 64 S.Y., Concrete Driveway, Tinted, 7 Thick - 11 S.Y., 9 x 20 Concrete Vertical Curb, Tinted - 285 L.F., Traffic Stripes, 4 - 189 L.F., Topsoil Spreading, 4 Thick - 146 S.Y., Borrow Topsoil -17 C.Y., Fertilizing & Seeding, Type A-3 - 146 S.Y., Straw Mulching - 146 S.Y. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, bid bond, or cashiers check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, (bid bond amount not to exceed $20,000.00), and made payable to the order of the Town of Morristown, together with a Consent of Surety from a surety company authorized to do business in New Jersey stating that it will provide the contractor with a bond in such amount as requested in the advertisement or specifications. The right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in any bid is reserved if such an action is not detrimental to the interest of the Town of Morristown.
