Question Acceptance Deadline 04/18/2025 12:00 AM EDT Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) (not to exceed $20,000.00) of the total bid, payable to the County of Morris, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to the Bidder they will enter into a contract and provide the necessary bonds, and insurance as required by the County and the Division of Risk Management. Bids are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20. 7, and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. Further, for that reason, as well as because of a language in the New Jersey's Annual Appropriations Act, refusal to disclose campaign contributions otherwise required by N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.25 et seq., will not adversely affect Bidder's consideration for award.
