Value: $ 900,000.00 Pre-Qualification: Yes Project involves pulverization of 3,500 S.Y. existing pavement, remove and replace 1,000 L.F. curb and gutter, remove and replace 4,200 S.F. sidewalk, including 4 ADA ramps, remove and replace 1,530 S.F. driveway approaches, remove and replace 1,350 L.F. 8-inch water main and appurtenances, includes 19 EA. Lateral spot repair. Also includes the removal and replacement of 20 water services and landscaping. Mandatory Alternate includes 628 L.F. of 8-inch water main removal and replacement and 6 water service replacements including curb stops. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Village of Saukville equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to Village of Saukville as liquidated damages. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of Village of Saukville, and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Village of Saukville reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all Plan Holder's of Record.
