If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 15 days after the Award, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to Ozaukee County as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of the bid opening. The Bidder whom a Contract is awarded shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract Price. Ozaukee County has the right to reject or accept any and or all bids received, to waive any minor defects or irregularities that may be found in the bids, and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the County.
