As of April 24, 2026 bids was rejected. No definite date for the rebid. Project involves the Base Bid of directional drilling 5,100 L.F. of 12" water main with required appurtenances, 250 L.F. of concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, 700 S.Y. asphaltic pavement patching, 445 L.F. of 12" water main jack and bored with 24" casing pipe and landscaping. Mandatory Alternate Bid involves open cut of 5,100 L.F. of 12" water main with required appurtenances in both spoil and granular backfill, 3,300 S.Y. asphaltic pavement patching and landscaping. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of Village of Saukville and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Village of Saukville reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. Pre-Qualification: Yes A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to Village of Saukville at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Village of Saukville equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to Village of Saukville as liquidated damages. Project includes, but is not limited to, constructing 5084 lineal feet of 12" watermain by either directional drill or open cut. Included, but not limited to, are all appurtenances including valves, hydrants, services, and abandoning existing watermain.
