The Ohio History Connection is requesting qualifications for Owner's Representative services for the new construction of the Poindexter Village African American Museum. The project involves establishing and constructing the museum within the two remaining Poindexter Village buildings, along with one modern addition connecting these buildings, estimated at 5,200 square feet. Work includes adaptive reuse and historic restoration of the existing buildings. The site will also be developed to include a courtyard, public park, and parking. Any required archaeological work will be addressed at the expense of the Owner prior to construction, but the contractor must coordinate with the Owner's Archaeologist during construction for any required observation of ground disturbance. The project is subject to State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) Archaeological and Preservation review. Project delivery will be by Construction Manager at Risk with Guaranteed Maximum Price.
