Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Ethelbert, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
Installation of a watermain and wastewater sewer, removal of an existing pedestrian bridge, the construction of a new 14m long prefabricated steel truss pedestrian bridge founded on cast-in-place concrete abutments, and associated works. The structure crosses over the Fork River within the Village of Ethelbert, Manitoba. The crossing is east of the intersection of Wakefield Street and 1st Avenue. Approximate GPS coordinates are UTM Zone 14U 403041 m E, 5709346 m N. The date of Substantial Performance shall be October 17, 2025. The date of Total Performance shall be October 31, 2025. Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the minimum Bid Price plus a Consent of Surety to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of 50% of the minimum Bid Price and a Labour and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the minimum Bid price must be submitted with the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. The Owner is not bound to accept the lowest or any Bid.
