The Work is briefly described as follows: a. Site #77 (2022 Spring Flood) - Bridge Replacement on Shanty Creek The Work generally includes the removal of the existing timber bridge, and the construction of a new prestressed precast concrete girder bridge founded on steel abutments with steel piles. The superstructure is a single-span bridge measuring 12 m long x 7.2 m wide out-to-out. The structure crosses over the Shanty Creek on Road 128W between PR247 and Road 173N in the Municipality of Ethelbert, Manitoba. Approximate GPS coordinates are UTM Zone 14U 398495 m E, 5708215 m N. Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the minimum Bid Price plus a Consent of Surety to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of 50% of the minimum Bid Price and a Labour and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the minimum Bid price must be submitted with the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. The Owner is not bound to accept the lowest or any Bid.
