This project involves the replacement of the Nebraska Department of Roads, East Bound weigh station scale located East of North Platte. The work includes demolition of the existing scale and scale pit and installation of a new scale pit, scale and controls. The new pit will include a drainage and lighting system. Work is not expected within the scale building except as required to route new control wiring and install the control system at the existing control counter. This project does include removal and replacement of flatwork around the scale and related sub- grade repair and/or remediation as may be required by the project. Portions of the existing sub-grade drainage system will also be replaced. Each Bidder Must Submit With the Bid a Certified or Cashiers' Check or a Bid Bond on Aia Form A310 in an Amount Equal to Five (5%) of the Bid. the Character and Amount of Security Must Be Submitted by the Contractor for the Performance of the Contract is Stated in the Proposed Contract Documents. Bidders May Not Withdraw Their Bids for a Period of at Least Sixty (60) Days After the Scheduled Closing Time for the Receipt of the Bids.
