Site work for a water / sewer project in Lenoir, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project will be bid as two (2) separate divisions of work, intended to be provided under one (1) construction contract: • Division 1 (Ridge St Sewer Replacement) generally consists of the replacement of 400 linear feet of existing 10-inch gravity sewer and 530 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer, manholes, sewer and service reconnections, and related appurtenances. A portion of the work involves replacing sewer in the same trench at a deeper elevation. • Division 2 (Harper Avenue Sewer Replacement) generally consists of the replacement of approximately 1,400 linear feet of an existing 8-inch gravity sewer line that is a contributor to inflow and infiltration and has limited capacity due to insufficient pipe slopes. The proposed sewer is planned to parallel a tributary to Zacks Fork Creek and the existing sewer within the existing sewer easement.
