Site work for a civil project in Groton, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Spring Street Seawall Replacement An existing mortared stone seawall on Spring Street, damaged previously by a snow plow, requires extensive repairs to restore its condition. This includes, but is not limited to, temporary removal of armor stone (and replacement after construction), placement of subgrade jersey barriers as tie-rod anchors, installation of new foundation with vertical dowels and horizontal tie rod anchors to new jersey barriers, a new concrete seawall with stone form liner, and reinforced concrete apron at the approach to the new wall. The Town of Groton reserves the right to waive any formalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the form of bid bond or certified check subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Town of Groton is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer
