Site work for a water / sewer project in Groton, Connecticut. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of this project is to provide and install a new mezzanine, stairs, railings, bollards, Controlled Pure Water (CPW) Evaporator, revetment pan, transfer pump, concrete housekeeping pad, filter, gauges, valves, unions, stainless steel piping, hangers, supports, exhaust stack, roof penetration, flashing, fire protection, electrical, controls, startup, testing, demolition, and all associated work. Seal/firestop new penetrations through walls or ceilings. The CPW Evaporator is Government Furnished Material (GFM). All piping and hardware must adhere to commercial cleanliness procedures per ASME B31.3. Location of work is the Enclosed Storage Area (ESA), Building 564, Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT. (Attachment A-D) FAR 36.204(e) Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction: $500,000 to $1,000,000. Time for completion: All work shall be completed within 270 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Construction Notice to Proceed anticipated to start within 90 calendar days from contract effective date. Estimate award date of 30 June 2025. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
