The contract will be used on an as-needed basis, and in general, involves work related to asphalt repair - including, but not limited to, crack sealing, chip seal, slurry seal, mastic repair, grinding and overlay, pavement striping, pavement marking, traffic control, placement of temporary no parking signs, and other associated work. The contract may be extended for one year up to four times. LOCATION OF WORK The work to be constructed is located throughout the City of Menifee, within public right-of- way's. PROJECT TIMELINE The contract amount for the first-year term is $125,000. If agreed, the City and Contractor may choose to extend the contract for one year, up to four times. The contract amount for each one-year extension will be $125,000. The usage of the services is on an as-needed basis, so if the demand is not there, then the services will not be requested. There is no guarantee for work. It is estimated that this contract will be awarded on May 21, 2025, by the City Council. The Initial Contract Period shall be effective on May 21, 2025, through June 30, 2026, plus four (4) single-year option renewal periods at the discretion of the City. Bid prices shall remain effective and in force for the entire Initial Contract Period, including any optional extension exercised.
